Are you an organised, community-minded person who loves making things happen?
Bedminster Works is looking for a Programme Coordinator to help us move from strategy into practical action as we work to unlock buildings and spaces for community use in Bedminster.
About Bedminster Works
Bedminster Works is a Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to securing long-term, affordable premises for local independent businesses, community groups, and socially trading organisations.
We are one of five pilot projects across the UK supported by Platform Places and funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. We sit at the intersection of property and community, working to ensure that Bedminster’s buildings serve the people who live and work here.
The Role
As our Programme Coordinator, you will be the “engine room” of our project delivery. This is a hands-on role focused on organisation, process, communications, and momentum. Working closely with the Programme Lead, you will help turn our strategy into practical action. From managing project schedules and coordinating feasibility studies to organising stakeholder meetings and capturing impact data, you will help ensure the programme delivers for the local community.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Brings Order to Complexity: You will be organised and work well to deadlines.
- Has Strong Project Skills: You are comfortable juggling multiple workstreams and shifting priorities.
- Is a Practical Problem Solver: You enjoy the “how” of a project—organising the people, documents, and meetings required to reach a goal.
- Values Social Impact: You want to apply your professional coordination skills to work that benefits the local Bedminster community.
Contract Details:
- Job Title: Programme Coordinator
- Contract: Fixed-term to October 2027
- Hours: 3–5 days per week (flexible)
- Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 FTE, pro rata
- Location: Hybrid (Bedminster sites, partner offices, and home working)
We’re a start-up team with big ambitions. You don’t need to be an expert in community asset development—just bring your energy, commitment, and curiosity. We’ll support your growth, offer flexibility, and work with you to create a role that fits. We offer flexible working hours and are happy to explore adjusted hours or other arrangements that support accessibility or caring responsibilities. If you need specific adjustments to work comfortably, we’ll do our best to make it happen.
